 Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Taiwan can be traced back to 1986 when Norton Performance Plastics set up a representative office in Taiwan. PPL Taipei
In year 2000 the company name was officially changed to Saint-Gobain Advanced Materials (Taiwan) Co. Limited (SGAMT). As of today, except for Performance Plastics,
SGAMT also includes the Ceramics Materials and Abrasive divisions. SGAMT has obtained ISO 9001-2008 and ISO-14001 certification.
Performance Plastics division is comprised of three business groups: Composites, Engineered Components and Fluid Systems. Major products include specialty elastomer foam materials, single double-sided adhesive tape products, special PTFE coated fabrics, specialty films & tapes, self-lubricated bushings, high-performance seals, high-performance engineering plastics, and high performance flexible tubing, fittings, tanks and various accessories. At the same time, Taiwan entity also engaged in sales and product conversion catering to the different markets like Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer, Electronics, Energy, Habitat, Industrial and Life Sciences.
